    I captured this a few weekends ago, at a small wetlands in Johannesburg. A lower angle wasnt possible.

    Good timing ,comp and underwing detail,Stu.
    Agree with the white on thigh and lower neck area.If you selectively tone down the whites in this area ,and bring out more detail here ,it will be superb

    The others have covered it well. I really like the outstretched wings and foot. Cool bird too.
