Hi all - Here's one from last weekend. I did have to clone out a bit of a foreground bird in the lower right, and also blended out a bit of the BG to provide a uniform, dark bg. I just liked the wing position here and the angles against the dark BG.
Canon 1DM4, 600mm f/4L, f/4, 1/4000, ISO 320, manual mode, Gitzo 5 series tripod with Wimberley head. Captured at Ding Darling shortly after sunrise with a nice wind from the East. Many great captures of them landing that day.
Very nice capture of one of the calssic spoonbill landing poses. I know how bright pink these birds get in the peak season, but this looks a bit too pink. A little less saturation would be helpfull, IMO.
