There's nothing like some fresh Great Blue Heron poop to get the boys together for a party!
At the peak of the party, there were 10 different species of butterflies and 1 fly.

Now that is neat Ken. There's obviously something in the poop that they want/need. The white stuff is made of Uric Acid, and we know that the brown stuff is made of.
That's why they call them butt....erflies. Ok, that was a stretch.:)
Danny, that was soooooooo bad! :p
Ken, that is amazing...I've never seen anything like it. Tomorrow, instead of going in search of butterflies I'll just go find a GBH and wait for the show!
Awesome image!
Danny, you should be suspended for posting for that one!!:)
Hey Ken,
Thaks for not posting this in macro;)!........very cool on the explanation too! Danny gets a time-out for bad pun.......but will admit it wasn't an easy one to pull off!
Great caption, it certainly caught my eye...and the diversity on the er, poop, is amazing! Great photo, and again, mud in the shot!!
