    Default Baird's Sandpiper - juvenile

As promised, here's an image of Baird's Sandpiper sitting in the same puddle as yesterday's Buff-breasted Sandpiper. Canon Mark IV, Canon 500 f/4, 1,4X TC, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/1600s +2/3

Terrific capture of an uncommon peep. Love the head turn, water drop, light and beautiful bg. Too bad about cutting off the reflection. I might be tempted to crop to a pano to draw less attention to the incomplete reflection (maybe about to the tip of the reflected bill) but that might not leave enough room for virtual legs.

Lloyd, I like this pose it really shows off the long wings. I love the head angle and the water drop. I might take a small amount off the bottom if it were mine:) TFS.

I like it with the caveats mentioned above

Nice low angle and I like the water drop.
