    Beautiful under wing details. Sharp and well exposed. Nice flight pose.

    Butt-kicking good. All techs perfect and a great flight pose. A crop from the bottom is an option.

    Michael - Great clarity and nice use of manual mode.

    I am not sure about the abundance of this species, but I would guess this is a special catch. Well done.
    Peter - Though its the widest distributed type of Heron in the world, they often seem locally uncommon in the New York/NJ area due to lack of habitat. Certainly a special capture though.
