I really like that pose. The colors on the perch are perfect with the oranges on the perch complementing the orange under the wings of this bird -- great colors

Jonathan, Very pleasing image. I would tone down the dark spot behind the head, tone down some of the lichen on the perch. Excellent sharp details. I do wish for a slight head turn.Nice job.

Hi Jon, Great perch and I like the tones in the BKGR, except the greens.
Could you get a touch higher and angle down a little to eliminate the green ?
    Great details in the feathers.

    Cheers

Thankyou for your comments. I did tone down the lichens, i need to do some more, it appears that the compressed image seems to emphasise the colours more so. The green can be fixed Austin, it is a pear tree,... and its coming down soon! The plain area is a sheet of reversed como material, (when used the "correct" way round at f8 it looks a little obvious so that is why I reverse it.)

Colors, BG ,perch and details all come together very well. Might take just a little off the right side.
