    I liked the way this little guy was checking me out from the side of the tree, so I checked it out right back - plus took I its' photo!:D

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @375mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/100s., f/6.3, ISO 800, no EC, natural light, handheld, slight crop for composition, metal wiring cloned out from tree at bottom edge.

    Good one Daniel, this guy is very cute and sharp! I love the colors, such a bright green BKGR. I only wish the closest part of the tree, on left, was in focus, but in this image I consider that minor.

    Daniel,

    Were you out photographing birds when you say this. The BG is something I expect to see with a bird in the FG. ;)

    Anyway, this works great on a lot of levels. The green BG, good light, nice pose, eye contact.

    Beautiful shot Daniel - great pose and I really like the bright "earthy" tones. Well done on getting such a sharp image handheld at 1/100s at that focal length.
