    40D. 400f5.6L wide-open. iso 320. 1/1250s. evening light.

    This is very important shot for me as Tricolored is an ucommon bird here. Only a few pairs breed every year and it is rarely photographed outside the rookery. I was lucky to find one fishing in a swamp very close to my home. I followed it for a few weeks but could not get better images as he preferred hanging out far out in the swamp.

    Congrats on your rare capture. I like the pose and the environment really adds to this one.

    Good sighting, and your persistance paid off. Good comp, pose, exposure, sharpness. The habitat looks great too.

    I like the composition and the incl. of habitat is good. Nice job w/ the exposure.

    Great sighting for you. Like the comp and environment included. Subject is sharp and well exposed with good colours
