    >>> Well maybe.;) These birds provided so many great opportunities it will be hard to see them go. I think with the coming storm , we may not see them till next year. This is one more from the last trip to the colony. Another "puddle sitter" , this one also content to just sit in the water.
Doug, I processed this a bit different in an attempt to get rid of the color cast seen in the previous images , so interested in any and all views.

Joe, I will miss these guys too. I like the sharp details and open mouth. I think the composition is good and the HA is very close:) Hope to see more of these guys from you.

I'm betting on the "well maybe" part:). As mentioned, good comp. The colours look good to me. Hard to tell if that is sand or highlights on the lower mandible, but I'd try to tone that down a bit. I love the skimmers but don't have any up here so you can keep posting them all you want!!

Joe, this is superb. Terrific shooting angle and strong diagonal comp with that open beak. Processing looks fine to me.

Joe, I do like your usual warmer tones-they seem more natural. I like the open mouth and sharpness of this juvi.

Excellent shot, like the open beak.
