I liked the pose despite the fact that the leg and bill are not tack sharp.

Really like this a lot. Love what you did leaving only the water ripples by the foot. Great job and hope you're feeling better.

Real nice Denise. Very interesting pose and you got the face nicely lit because of that. Liked the crop choice as well. Sharp where it counts in my book.

One of your best , IMHO. Love,Love the high key look you created. In this type of image a little softness presents no problem. Big Congrats and get well soon.:D:D:D

Denise I love the HK look and the action. The head area is nice and sharp and draws the viewer right to it.

this is excellent Denise, the pose and sweet light are killer, the beak looks great to me, and a wise choice of techs for this image, with the perfect
focal length for this shot., well done.
I would suggest cloning out the flash reflection, to me, and this is just personal, it doesn't belong., looks un-natural. The composition is interesting,
with so much space above the head, and the face / eye in the center of the frame, somehow, this works!

    congrats on a superb shot.

The reflection in the water is a nice touch, makes it look like a pedestal. Really like this high key shot.

Quite different but nice pose. The high key works very fine here and I love the details in the eye

Hi Denise, I like how the head is tilted for the scratching behaviour, together with your low angle of capture. Good comp, and he stands out nicely against the water BG. Well captured.

Great low angle and pose. Overcast conditions well handled. Like the comp and flash work. Well done Denise.
