    Hello everyone,

    i took this photo last weekend of this beautiful green heron.The low level of the water help the green heron for the hunt. Let me know your comments!

    I like the colors and the pose -- I might try to take out the stick that is protruding out of the neck of this heron -

    Yes to stick removal and the tan colored thing in the center of the bg as well. Very nice composition and color.

    Diito Scott and Joe. The head is angled both slightly away from you and well off the orientation of the body (which is angled a bit towards you). To learn about Head Angle, follow the links by clicking on the word here.

    Good points above. If you're going to remove the stick, I'd also remove the tan area in front of the bird.

    I like that hair style :D Nice details and exposure. Will tone the bright spots in the bg down. Well done
