    one more Ibis from last weekend. They are really fun to photograph and I think I even prefer the overcast weather :)

    Love the blood red streak. Love the head below the wings. Love the COMP. Overall too dark. Just pulled the curve up.

    An option would have been to lightening only the bird.

    Nice pose and great wing position. I especially like the eye -- good catchlight and I can some color -- not easy to get a dark eye to appear from a dark head -- good job

    Wonderful BIF shot. Nice eye contact and "expression" on the birds face. Re-post was a very good "tweek".

    @ Artie, true, I see it now, too. I think I like the idea best to just lighten up the bird. The rather dark sky supports it better I think :)

    Very dynamic flight pose! Artie's repost improves it, and I agree that lighting the bird only would be even better. I like the slight blur of the primary tips.
