    Default Pretending to be a Reddish

    This morning's entertainment was watching a Snowy Egret act like a Reddish Egret, jumping around and flapping its wings like crazy. It was having luck catching fish, too, with this curious and humorous hunting activity. I hope the position of its feet and wings imply the skittish behavior. Yesterday morning I had seen a Reddish in almost that exact same place.

    Ditto Peter. Bummer that with the bird striding towards you the fish he was looking at was farther away than the bird, thus the bird is looking away from you.

    TFL, Peter and Artie. And, no, I could not have got lower, since I was sitting on a bank above the action, with a closer approach prohibited to the area where the bird was.
