From my last outting at the shore. Caught this one as I was walking off the beach. It was returning home with dinner(needlefish).

Lovely image, Joe. A wonderful feel to it. Great work spotting and capturing this. Colors and foreground are nice (would have been a killer but for the oof plant), and the position of wings, beak and needlefish are just right for a silhouette. Well done!

Joe, I love that we can see the fish in the skimmers mouth. Beautiful colors and silhouette. I too wish the OOF plant weren't there but it's not a deal killer to me at all. Very nicely captured.:)

Well seen and captured, Joe !! Like the moodiness portrayed. A version with the OOF plant cloned out would be an interesting exercise?
