Cropped from the left bottom corner to eliminate BG. Small amount of glow to help with the whites. Shadow work in PS along selective color on the whites...........

Hey Jay, I love the swirl and the basic shot but it's looking pretty flat and gray on this end. Does it look the same when looking at the original jpg on your hard drive?

I think a curves or levels adjustment could brighten this up and after that, maybe some more contrast could help.

    Hi Ken,

Thanks for pointing that out........I am having a posting problem with this one. Depending on how I save for export, its varying between 206kb and 130kb (which is a bit more compressed than I'm used too). I'll try again......................

I just raised it a notch to help.................but I'm still getting some compression.? I usually get around 175kb+...

    here's another shot at it

turns out, it's an operator problem, not systems. I have been jumping between different versions of brightness/texture on this one..........again thanks for the feedback. Hope this current one works................ans sorry for all the posts.

    Cheers Jay

Nicely composed, I like the second image but I think about some toning down the yellow circle in the middle , the third has a slight blue? cast imho.

    Hey Jay,
love the radiating swirl/almost fan like petals! Nicely placed on the central part. I do think tweaking this a bit more will only help and I might try selectively lightening the very center....just a touch.

Hey Jay, like the position of the flowers center using two of the thirds. I like the first repost best as far as the white go.

I like the wonderful swirls of the petals and the composition. Your first repost is nice, the whites look better. A slight lightening of the center might work. Nice macro.
