    Default Drinking Giraffe

Returned from Namibia, so it is time for some posting. I have had a fantastic time over there and have seen a lot of beautiful places, people and nature.

This giraffe was captured at a waterhole close to sunset. Thanks for looking.

    Ditto Peter's comments.

I would add good head angle and eye contact on the giraffe. I think the highlights are a bit bright in this image. I would suggest making a selection of the highlights (see second link below) using the channels palette and CRTL-Click on the RGB channel. Back at layers palette on a BG copy, create a mask of the selection. Then change blending mode to multiply (first link below). Adjust opacity to suit. This will help to reduce the highlights while protecting the shadows from getting too dark.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
Morkel, I was in Etosha and many other places. What a country and what a wildlife. It was very nice to visit Namibia.
