PP: removed another flower from upper right and output sharpened. So little PP that I'm wondering if it still fits in OOTB.

My thoughts - image too cramped in frame. Too centered or not centered enough.

Douglas, First of all this is perfect for OOTB. Some of my blur shots have no more than NR run on them. OOTB doesn't necessarily mean post processing it really means thinking a bit differently- a little unconventional.:) Anyway this is wonderful. I really like the way the flower looks. I think the tight comp. is fine, I might take a tiny bit off the top (so it looks the same distance as the sides). I might also darken up the pink flower in the BG on the right.

This is loverly. And yes, perfect for OOTB. The colors and the blurring are right on. And I love the flower.

Thanks, Denise. I wasn't really serious about doubting if the image should go in OOTB. I just found it a contrast to the PP I had done on previous images.

I like your suggestions on cropping the top so the petals match the sides and darkening the reds. I made both changes and it improves the image noticeably, IMO.
I forgot to mention in the above description of the image that the image was rotated 90 to put the darker space towards the bottom of the image.

Nicely done, Douglas. The second crop looks better. It really glows.

Excellent blur work Doug. I like the contrast of the flower against the dark background and the nice soft blur. I would probably take the blacks down even more (or use the clone tool) to eliminate the bg flowers altogether on the right side. Good one!
