    Default Wind Crest- Brown Cacholote

Hi, this is a Brown Cacholote. It has a significant crest, but in this case was aided by the wind.

Welcome. Spectacular bird, pose, and raised crest. Loverly BKGR. And sharp. Love the eye too. In what type of habitat does this species live? Was this at a feeder?

Fernando, great job capturing the crest, and the light and sharpness look really good.

Wicked bird, and I love the matching perch. Very cool. The windswept crest looks pretty good too. I wish the bird would have pulled back a bit to give more separation between its chest and the perch, but I like it as is too. Well done:cool:

Hi all, Thanks for your coments are much appreciated. This species, live in open forests of my region (central of argentina). Usually feeds on insects that hunts on a ground and trunks of the trees. The photo was taken using feeder, with sunflower seeds and suet. The bkgr is only ground without grass.

Fernando, Sharp, well exposed and I like the crest. I would sharpen the perch some more.
