Ray, stunning shot......
Ray, It's nice to see you posting again! I love the rich BG colors and the sharp details are very nice. I might tone down the rim on the wings just a bit if it were mine. I like the the framing also.
Ray, looking good on this image. Exposure and sharpness look right on, and the natural light is really nice. The BG is just a little busier than what I would consider ideal, but you shot wide open so there's nothing more you could have done in the field.
Cheers,
Greg Basco
Hey Ray, what a nice flight. Love the light and pose of the bird, perhaps a slightly better eye contact. Can only imagine how much you enjoyed shooting this guys ;)
Raymond, Nice to see you posting again. I like the flight pose and the species. Sharpness and details look great. I agree with toning down just a small area on the wings. Congrats on this one. I miss seeing your owl shots.
thanks for the comments and the help!
took anther crack at this image, thanks again for the critique.
ps.. Greg, I do understand your comment about the background, i do like the extra smooth version, .. considering I took
over 3,000 images on this day, I have a few to pick from! This one caught my eye due to the pose, wing position, and look
of the eye, the background I thought was interesting, and gives some character to this shot.
Raymond, I think the repost looks better:)
Great feather detail and exposure. Like the in flight pose and comp. Bird is razor sharp
Raymond, I forgot to congratulate you on your new book! I looked through some of the images and it looks awesome!:)
Good deal, Ray. I think the repost is a nice improvement.
Cheers,
Greg
The repost looks awesome . Surprising that at f4 , the bird is sharp from tip to tip . Great BG and pose make this a winner !!
thanks very much.
