    one image from yesterday afternoon. First I didn't like the clouds, but then the images turned out quite nicely :)

    1D Mark IV
    600 IS
    full frame
    manually set 1/2500 ISO 800 F6.3 (equalled about +2 stops)

    Jan, great detail, and I like the clouds in the sky. I suppose a bit more room up top by the wingtips would be nice but I give you big congrats on the full-frame capture, nice composition!

    Superb on all counts. With the bird landing, I am fine with more room below than above but a bit more there would not hurt. Love the yellowish feathers on the breast and below the tail, and of course, the nesting material.

    Does anyone know the relationship of this species to Sacred Ibis? They look quite similar.

    lovely shot, I like the sky very much. The details in the feathers are superb.
