    Default Textures - Zinnia

I've missed the whole week but I did have time to work on one (2 - I'll post it tomorrow) images for this week's theme. This is a zinnia from my garden. I used 2 images, one at normal exposure and 1 at +1.8 which I used a Gaussian blur on, then blended in normal mode.
I used this texture http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3651/...2ff68f_o_d.jpg (I changed the hue) and blended with soft light. Then pinched for a little added dimension and used Nik Reflector effect.

    Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated

Cheryl, The texture adds a little something extra to this. I like your recreation of the Orton effect. Nice combo of filters. I'm wondering if a tiny bit more stem would be nice. Well done.

Hi Cheryl, I like your Orton effect and texture treatment. I might blur the LRC a little bit to minimize that one patch of texture that's all by itself there. Does feel a little tight on the bottom and sides. Love the colors.

Hi Cheryl, I love the soft colors and feel, but the OOF petals in the FG bother me a bit. Nice texture work.
