This one is from last year's Bosque workshops. I try to go in the first half of November to take advantage of the spectacular fall color bgs. I'm starting to get excited about visiting Bosque again this year. Bosque is a superb location for photographing BIF, and the colorful bgs in early November make it really special.

Great job, Jim. I like the effect created by the 2 wings with the crisp plumage detail and just a hint on motion blur at the tips. Beautiful BG - sounds like an amazing spot.

Love the side view orchestra composer pose. Techs perfect as expected. Are your tours sold out?

It is easy to see why ypu like so much Bosque. Light is fantastic and BG really nice in color and out of focus possibilities. Pose, sharpness and composition are spot on in my opinion

Jim, looks great as everyone has mentioned. I would love to see a bit more room at the top of the frame. If the version presented has been cropped, I wonder if you have any room up top.

    Cheers,

Jim, this is quite stunning. Nice contrast between the head and the feathers...and awesome details. Light, as noted by many, is gorgeous. Great pose too.
