Nice and sharp with good plumage detail. Looks a little angled away. Whites are't clipped but look to be lacking a little detail and would be a candidate for a linear burn - quick try at 35% brings a bit more detail up. Spending some time to clean up some of the plants pushing through the water is an option.

I like the posture of the bird and the exposure is good. The downward angle and legs mostly under water are negatives, IMO.

    Hi Kasra
Nice capture with good HA. Detail looks fine with such a short lens.
Good critique by Tony & Jim.

Good re-work by Peter with perhaps a few points too much on the Linear Burn. I had no idea that this bird in breeding plumage was so different from our Spotted Sandpiper.
