Charles, wonderful color and detail. I like the light on the face but might be overall just a tad dark. Still, a wonderful shot. TFS

Hi Charles, love the mood here, terrific lighting. On my monitor brightness likes fine.... but i often prefer dark images. Terrific fine detail.

Chas, beautiful portrait. Really love the soft light, and the sharpness is right on. Flash work looks great too; I assume the catchlight is from the flash?

There is something I love about the personality of this birds that I can't explain but transmit peace. Lovely warm light and pose. Killer BG too.

    Hi Charles,
Excellent portrait (like a human portrait) with nice light & perfect detail. As mentioned, it's slightly dark.

    Chas,
Not too dark for me! I love the light on the face, the pose/composititon and as mentioned by others it does seem to have a human personality---thoughtful, contemplative and wise. simply wonderful.
    Thanks for posting.

Well done, Chas! The close up look, pose, lighting, and bg all come together to make this a really nice image.

This is just stunning and gorgeous.
