Captured at Malibu Lagoon last weekend, this snowy was fishing for dinner. Just a few minutes before sunset, the light was mixed but inviting. Used a Better Beamer to get a little fill light on the egret. Also added a blur vignette.

    Terry,

The brightest portion of the image is the birds shoulder (which appears to be slightly overexposed), and it draws my eye away from the head and the action. I might try some light balancing. It's hard to tell the direction of the light, part sun part shade? I might also try a tighter crop with less of the right. Just my opinion.
