Here is a Barn Swallow... i used fract filter then changed the opacity of the upper layer, added a layer mask and painted with different blacks to get the effect. Cropped and applied usm on the final web version. All C&C will be appreciated.

Indranil, I like the color tones of the image and the composition I think is fine. I'm wondering if a bit more definition on the back birds would help. I might remove the part that is hanging on the edge of the frame in the back. I would love to see the original.
Indranil, Very nice! I like the comp, colors and frac work. It has an Autumn (chilly wind) feel for me. Interesting perch.

Very nice, Indranil. Great complimentary colors and DOF. I like the frac work and repost change. I might tone down the bright area in the ULC.
Pretty colors and a nice subtle frac job. I do wish more of the birds were in focus, but I can appreciate what you were doing the the sharpness tailing off and blending with the bg. It's cool that you had the chance to get this shot!
