Default Wilson's Phalarope at Jamaica Bay

Taken a few weeks ago at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. Laying in the muck is part of the charm at the refuge :)

Killer image, light, raised wings. And a fresh juvenile. It was good to see you there and even better seeing you here :) BTW, the distances in the EXIF are not always accurate.... Sorry, we cannot help you improve this one :)

Beautiful Lloyd, I love the raised wings and the lovely water color. Sharp and well exposed. :)

Fantastic pose and colours, and awesome low angle! There are odd halos around the wing-tips and above the head that need tidying-up though.

Thanks Daniel, I cleaned the little area around the head. Funny, but before I re-sized it for BPN I had done all the necessary clean-up as you can see on my website. Guess I wanted to get something up and just missed it in my haste. Thanks.

Great image Lloyd, there are still halos around both wings (upper regions) in the repost.
