    Canon 7D, Sigma 150, f11, 1/25, tripod, FF, no flash. Original photo taken at Roman and Denise's workshop at Longwood.

    PP: Ctrl-J, rasterized, created smart filter. Then added Twirl, Pinch, Film Grain, Plastic Wrap, Rough Pixel, and Smart Sharpen. Yeah, I know. Too much of a good thing, but each filter seem (to me, at least) to add a bit more mystery and interest.

    Great fun!

    Douglas, I am glad that you are enjoying these tools in photoshop. I like what you've done here. Sometimes for composition I will start with the stem coming out of the corner to add a bit of drama. As presented I might crop a little off the top to just below the spot in the ULC. Thank you for sharing your workflow, as an educational site it is so important:) Nicely done.

    Nice composition, Douglas. It is sometime amazing to see how the filters adds to an image. I really like the shape and flow as presented. I would have preferred a slightly less sharpened image, if it was mine. TFS.
