Myer Bornstein attended and IPT at JBWR maybe 15 years ago, maybe a few less than that. He was back for seconds on the recently concluded JBWR/Nickerson IPT. Suffice to say we are both a lot skinnier now than we were then. It was a great group of folks and despite the harsh weather with cold rain and 30mph NW winds we enjoyed lots of great photography, some really good food, and of course, tons of great instruction :) Denise Ippolito was along as co-instructor and was a great help to all.

And it was really great seeing Myer again; he is a sweet man. With a heavy Boston accent. We all had lots of fun.

Nikon it is. And now that you brought it up :), Myer had several moisture related AF problems with his gear. Us Canon folks had only whacky flashes :)

Thanks Myer and YAW. Good luck with the new camera. I like your smiling image of me; the midtones good go lighter. Just open the JPEG, hit Control M, and pull the curve up a bit.

If by serious weather you mean icy rain, 40 mph NE winds, and black skies, then yes :)

Yeah John, that's the word on the street but it seems that both Myer and I realized as we got older that taking care of our bodies was the best option, especially with regard to what we put in our mouths :)
