    Hi,

Nice details on the bird, with good sharp eye, bill details and feathers, and good head angle - but for me the oof black and brown object behind the head is a spoiler.

Hey Jim, nice colours, sharpness, and comp. Not too many of these guys let us approach this closely up here, eh! I agree it's a bummer about that OOF element behind the head though. Is this the fella you followed along the shore at AHP last year?

Yeah, that gator head in the BKGR is a bummer.... Very sharp and lots of fine detail. Toning down the blues would be a good choice. It would not be too tough to lose the gator :)

Jim nice details on this bird and good eye contact. As Artie has suggested you could remove the OOF log in the background.

Not sure what happened to the original image, but could you please put it back? It helps people follow the thread a little better. Nice job with the repost!

Handsome bird, with lovely detail. Great repost really works without the gator and saturated blues.

Great job on losing the gator. The blues look different but a bit funky as does the quality of the BKGR...

Thank you Bill...Thank you Arthur, the BKGR you speak of is the river reflecting the sky...it was a bit difficult cloning out the 'gator' and still keep the cloudy reflection intack, but it does look a little funky

YAW Jim. A second look shows that the color of the BKGR looks much more natural in the repost.

If it really was a 'gator' I would have left it in.
