    Default Rosy Rose

Here's a rose image that I recently processed with some of my textures. I applied two textures over the whole image using soft light blending mode. I then applied those same two textures again at normal blending mode and masked them off the flower center to create a vignette. I also applied a third texture at soft light blending mode and added an orton effect.

Dreamy and beautiful. This would make a lovely note card series Christopher. I like the texture and the comp. Nicely done.

This one is very nice Christopher. The nice texture of the bg gives it a very painterly look. Very nice blending of the flower and the canvas. Well done!

Thanks a lot, Denise, Judy, and Kerry. Much appreciated! Denise, I was already planning to use this image for notecards. :)

I should have known. The whole flower series is lovely. Have you thought about "old fashioned Christmas cards" with your barn images?

No, Denise, I haven't because I don't keep Christmas. However, I have done up several of the barn images as notecards, and I plan to do more.

Christopher, I like the fade to the edges of the rose and the linen like texture. Lovely colors. Very professional!
