I think you should call this one butterflysicle! Lovely tilt to the image and beautiful overall exposure. You could cut some from the right side to form a square crop but this also works nicely!

Superb, richly coloured image of a beautiful specimen. Fritillaries are fast and jumpy so you did well to get close.

Nice shot of a difficult subject, not sure if I like the way the twing is showing from the bottom. Back of wings look super.

Lovely shot of the butterfly - excellent DOF and focus etc but it looks a little isolated not sure how to improve it - I have made similar shots, it is technically very good but somehow there is a little something missing for me - don't take this to heart it is only my opinion.:)

    Butterfly on a stick! :)
I also think you could crop a slice from the right but other than that, I really like it a lot!

I too, like this a lot, Ovidiu. Beautiful colors, excellent sharpness, a nice diagonal comp, and a clean background. Well done.

    Hey Ovidiu,
Excellent advice given above. As I love tight crops....may go with a hair off bottom.....a bit off top and right removal. Blens the LLC.....and for my tastes.....much more impact. All that sai......great light and pose! This is still a winner as is!
