    Default Short-billed Dowitcher Laying Low

    This Dowitcher was laying low while a peregrine falcon buzzed overhead at Jamaica bay's east pond.

    Canon 1Dmk4 500mm f4 1.4x, Ground pod, 1/640 @ f5.6 Iso 800 Incident metered.

    James, I love the high key look. Nice low shooting angle and perfect exposure.

    James, I love low angles and this is really awesome. Loved the silky smooth water. Perfect bird angle. If the bird is made a tad brighter, I think it will be better.

    Sweet as can be. Love the marshmallow water. When was this made? I had wind every day--often strong--and lots of rain too.

    Artie it was made Saturday afternoon I was the only one there.

    Thanks Jimmy. We were there FRI and it was great. Had the introductory slide program for the IPT on SAT.... You work you lose :)
