This is a rare species in the Kruger Park and I were lucky to captured this one in last light

Your comments and advice would be appreciated.

Excellent capture of a rare species in the last light. Golden light compliments the bird very nicely. HA and eye contact seem nice. Not sure what the blurry foreground is (seems almost outlined) and how it drops off at the left and right corners.

Great sharp detail and IQ. Like the shooting angle and eye. Subject is well exposed with good natural colours and DOF. Geluk met die een ;)

Sweet light Chris, and this is tack sharp. I like the pose. The saddlebill stands out so well from the BG.

Hi Chris, Lovely light and a beautiful bird. The toe popping up in front of the bird adds a lot of interest for me. I also agree with all of the other positives above. I only want to add that the reds appear a bit bright to me so I checked them in photoshop and the red channel is slightly clipped. Desaturating the reds a few point should enhance the details in those areas. Thanks for sharing.
