    Default Dreamy Lesser yellow legs

    This was taken last night at Jamaica Bay's east pond the light was bright overcast an I was alone at the pond i was a nice peaceful afternoon,

    Canon 1D mk4, 500mm f4 1.4x, ground pod, 1000 @ 5.6 incident metered iso 800.:)

    Like the pose, sharpness, and water droplets. The water has a dreamy, cloud-like look to it. I'd be inclined to brighten the image a bit.

    Jimmy, I agree this is a nice dreamy look look. Sharp details and a beautiful pose. The water and slight reflection make this special.

    Hi James,

    I love the feel/mode of the image. The silky water is lovely. The angle of the bird and the overall composition makes for a pleasing presentation. The three water drops in front of the bird are intriguing. I assume that these are a result of the birds actions?

    Yes...great fele to it. Water droplets a huge plus. You chose the right shooting angle here. If mine, I'd move the bird a little to the right and brighten the image a bit.

    This is beautiful, that water being all smooth and clean is just outstanding... Water Drops a huge plus...

    Hey Jimmy, this is my kind of image. Love the low perspective, makes the image feel surreal. I like the composition as well. Nice work.
