    Default BBWD's Battling for Position

I was out at the Viera Wetlands yesterday am and these Black-bellied Whistling Ducks were fighting for the positions on these palm trees. I liked this particular interaction a lot!:D Taken with the D300s and Nikon 500 f/4 with the Nikon 1.4TC attached to the Quick Action Harness, f/7.1, 1/1600, iso 640. The light was really good just after sunrise.

The action is great, wish the perch wasn't in front of the ducks right foot.

Great timing and details. Like the natural colours. Well done.

Nancy, the comp is superb. Very strong image that makes a lot of impact because of the outstretched wing and open beaks. If mine, I'd try pulling down the exposure a tad.
