it seems that u have the whole series of the topaz labs Mark :) . I like this image , it's riminds me , something made of wood or something , i dont know if that was your plan , but i like what i see ! well done
Good work Mark! I like the duo-tone, detail and interesting textures enhanced by the technique. If you are using CS4 I would suggest recording this kind of stuff with action scripts. That way you have a record of the steps and can also do exactly the same thing to another image to see what it looks like( with a click of the button) or you can delete the action if it doesn't work out in the first place. Note; Topaz plugins are recorded with settings. regards~Bill
Mark, this does have the look of a wood carving. Some interesting effects going on in the bg which border on being "busy" to my eye. Lots going on in there!

Mark, William makes a good suggestion about recording your work flow w/ an action. It is kind of like creating your own filter effect. I do like the effect on the flower but I agree w/ Kerry that the BG is busy and a bit distracting.
Mark, I like this a lot! It looks like a wood carving and has a lot of depth and interest to it. Framing and matting are great:)
