Still trying to get a decent shot of the Dusky Moorhens fighting with no luck. However, I got a few good opportunities when they chase each other....

Absolutely killer image. Great capturing that one moment when both feet were out of the water. The 1D4 is treating you well.

Thanks Jan, are you using a calibrated monitor in your new home...? ;)
I don't see a cast on my calibrated monitor but maybe I need to re-calibrate...

@ Ofer, I do yes. All your other images look great. It's just this one that shows a cast...

I see it kinda over the whole image. Try and add some red in PS. To make it look ok, I would add about +8....

Might be just an issue of our screens...maybe mine is a tad cooler than yours, who knows.

Great low perspective Ofer, and you have captured the typical running posture. I like the splashes kicked up behind the feet.

Nice one, Ofer. I like the low angle, bg, flying water drops, and the action of the running MH. This bird is very similar to our Common Moorhen. I have observed and photographed the Common Moorhens fighting here in Florida. It is really something to see. They lean way back in the water so they can lie on their backs and use their enormous feet as weapons. They smash each other in the head and neck with their big feet. Sometimes they even grab their oponent by the neck in what looks like a strangle hold. I hope you get a good one of them fighting. I would love to see it.
