    Default Willet & Wave

This was photographed at a shell bank in Foster City, CA, last weekend. At high tide occasionally a wave sweeps over the bank surprising the birds seeking shelter.

    Thanks in advance. JR

Good detail on the willet, and your low angle works well. The wind swept foam from the water seems to clash with the willet, but we cant choose where they walk.

The wave frozen in mid splash is pretty cool. It drew my eye more than the Willet did. The low angle helps a lot.

Low angle rocks and this is where I could see driving a few frames per cycle at a high rate could help you choose an image where the wave doesn't clash too much with the bird.

Love the leg on the move pose you have here too with the bird.
