    A male Bluethroat in full breeding mood in the mountains of central Spain.
    Perhaps I should have gone for deeper DOF and get the tail all sharp, but I was worried about the BG.

    Killer posture shows off the blue throat perfectly. I'd crop this one from the bottom to a perfect square. Tail fan is great--I am fine with the limited d-o-f--and it is great that you can still see a sharp eye.

    Hey Ignacio,
    Agree with Artie regarding crop and while not my favorite pose......really does show off the throat nicely. I would have preferred more DOF personally.....but always a fine line with the BG's. Overall I think this one is nicely done!

    Amazing bird, pose and light. More DOF would made this a little bit better but I think the bg is more important.
    Congrats of getting such a great photo of this bird.
