It's good! He looks like a ref signaling that the field goal was good. You can really see just how large the Skimmer's wings really are. I like the foot kicking up the sand too. Nice job on the exposure.

I love it too. From the sharp distinct eye with a highlight to the nice low angle to the great framing and the killer wing stretch and positions. Even the blowing grasses in the BKGR are sweet. An option would have been to get a bit lower so that the bottom of the bird's belly would have been set only against green. (But then you might have lost the feet....)

Michael, I think the layered BG is nice and the blowing grass makes the image special. Fantastic sharp details and pose!

    Hey Michael,
Love the pose and BG......for me the little patch of yellowish grass by the bill would be evicted.....but not a deal breaker and the flowing grass BG more than makes up for it. Just something for you to toy with.

In retrospect, good suggestion by Roman on that bit of yellowed grass. I noted it and then forgot about it :)

Michael, great timing to show off the wingspread, and just love the exposure, and sharp detail. Well captured.

Great sharp detail and IQ. Like shooting angle and pose. Subject is well exposed with good natural and DOF. Well done !
