Judy, I really like this effect and the way it mimics real brush strokes. This one has a look of really thick paint, which was used by a lot of artists. Would be nice if the stem extended to the edge of the frame. Speaking of which, I like the frame also.

Judy, You are working that Daff. I might tone down the one stem on the right and the small line of the stem on the left if it were mine. Nice work!

Lovely work, Judy! You're getting a lot of great effects out of that pixel bender filter. I love the swirling, thick paint look to this. Agree with Kerry and Denise's suggestions.

Judy, nice effect with the thick paint. It certainly looks like a Van Gogh. Great colors:)

Thanks Kerry. I toned this one down from my first effort. I didn't want to put anyone's eyes out! Yes I should have thought of cloning the stem down to the edge. There was a leaf in front of it and it doesn't show up here. PB creates a little frame effect but I enhanced it.

Good suggestions Denise. Thanks! I've been busy making and processing photos this week but maybe I can get around to re-working it and my Landscape image too!
