    Nice preening pose and head angle. The light looks a bit harsh and the bird appears overexposed to me. It also needs a little CW rotation.

    yes the light was very very harsh.repost inc exoosure and rotation?

    Hi Stuart, I also like the preening pose with a good view of the face and the slightly extend wing. Other than the light, my comment is that the water color appear a bit abnormal on my monitor. If this were mine I would try reducing the cyan saturation some to see if how that effected the presentation. However, if this represents what you saw in the field then you may not want to alter the image's appearance. Thanks for sharing.
