Canon 5D, 400DO, f16, 1/200, ISO 400, and processed as a regular image. Then, applied a little of all the Distort filters, just to get started. Not very pretty or even all that interesting, but it got my feet wet.

Tinkering is what got us all here! I think you got an interesting result and the colors are quite nice. Some of the filter effects, especially in the upper right corner, are a little too much for my eye. I would suggest taking one or two filters and exploring what each of them does to the overall image. Looking forward to seeing more. Don't be shy!

Douglas, I think you did a great job with the image. Kerry makes some good suggestions. I think that experimenting with the filters is an excellent way to see what each one does. I think it is interesting and I think you are well on your way!!;)

Good to have another tinkerer on the boards. We all enjoy exploring and seeing what happens here. Don't worry about the first results, you will find a vision as you play with them and move on from there. Not all will be pretty, but all will be your best effort at the time, and that is all that matters.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride! ;) :D
