    Default Prison becomes art

I know the theme is flowers, but I was curious to know what others thought of this idea for a photo. This forum seemed like the best place for it. I am not going to say what this is exactly, but the title probably gives it away somewhat.

    Thanks for looking

    Interesting image and application, Connie.

Just hope it isn't a personal environmental image, but then again you probably wouldn't have your camera there if it were! :o ;)

Would be nice to know your process, if it is an inprison shot or created "artistic" rendering of the environmental plight of nature.

Connie, It looks like a painted house that has a fence shadow on it. I like all the lines and angles. Very cool looking and very well seen.

Thanks for the comments and interesting analyses. There was no processing in terms of adding the prison bar aspect, it is totally out of the camera. Near Miami in Key Biscayne, is the Crandon Park, which contains a beautiful area for wildlife and somewhat domesticated birds. This park contains the remains of the old, terrible zoo. The run down cages are still standing, bars and all (bars are open). Artists painted murals on the walls of some of the cells, this is where this photo was shot. I have several various perspectives of it and will share another for you to see in actuality what it is. I can't get to the photo at this time to post it now, but will later.

Now that you know what it is, does the photo appear different to you? Thanks again!

Here's another shot, showing more of the prison cell (former prison cell).

Hi Connie, I like the original image and my first impression was "bird cage". The juxtaposition works nicely here and tells the story. Very nice!

PS - we do ask that you post only one image per thread, unless you are reposting the original with changes. Thanks for understanding!
