Canon 5D, 24-105 @ 24, f13, .6s, ISO 800, tripod, cropped alot from both sides and the bottom, boosted some of the colors in Bridge, and sharpened ride. Also, removed some distracting elements with CAF.

Fun trip to the Montgomery County, MD Fair. The rides were fascinating to photograph. Every image, even of the same subject, was greatly different.

    Douglas,

I think I would have liked to see more of the bottom for two reasons, the activity of the fair patrons which would be blurred and to give a base to the large ride. As it it now, the image feels top-heavy.

Very cool affect and good shutter speed to get a nice blur on the swirling lights but still have them distinguished with spaces between them.

Thanks Robert. Here's the unmolested image.

    Hey Kerry,
Love the colors and swirl here. I agreed with Robert on his 1st assesment.....but now looking at the 2....putting back the tower may just do the trick.....or even making it a vert! Many options but this looks like so much fun that I may have to go out and try it!
