Default Hello from Cape Cod (Massachusetts)

Hello fellow photographers! My name is Betty Wiley and I live on Cape Cod. Yes, I have it rough. LOL. I am recently retired after having spent over 20 years in the biotech industry specializing in rare diseases and now I have time to photograph my two favorite subjects - birds and children. When you think about it, they are not that different as neither group sits still for very long. I have been spending a lot of time photographing birds this year and made a trip to South Texas in May and recently discovered Nickerson Beach on Long Island. I really haven't posted my images before so I am going to venture over to the forums in the "Eager to Learn" group and get my feet wet. It's a little intimidating as there are so many good photographers on this forum.

Welcome to BPN. You're right about kids and birds being similar in may ways:D. Looking forward to seeing some of your images.

Betty, don't let those images in ETL scare you! We all start somewhere and we all get better as we go! I'm one of the newer moderators there so I'll keep my eye out for you. Let me know if you have any questions or need help finding your way around the site.
