    Default Prairie Rose in B&W.

This is one of my favorite wild flowers to find every year. This one was very close to the ground and in the color version you can see a little more of the BG. I thought it might work as a B&W too. :)

Jim, This reminds me of a Poppy. Nice conversion to B&W. I might try to darken or eliminate the BG artifacts at the bottom. It's a tiny bit tight on the right. I might try to boost the clarity slider just a tiny bit. Nicely done.

Yes to more room on the right. I love the "old wedding dress" look that you have here. It is both beautiful and interesting.

Hi Jim, it works very well as a b&w. Nice neutral tones and details. Ditto on the crop. Does have an antique look to it, like a silver gelatin print.

Thanks for the comments! Converting this into B&W really gave it a different look and I think I may like it better than the color version...I may play with it some more...:)

Jim, I really love this in B&W. Another vote for a little more room on the right.:)
