Male Giant Kingfisher. Although the IQ is better on the non re sized image, i liked the angle of the shot, and would like your opinions. The perch i left in, to show direction and angle better, as without it, it would give the impression that the GKF flew directly above me.;)

Hi Charissa. Nice timing and BG. Contrast looks a bit high for me, would also try to tone down whites on the bird's neck. Details look a bit flat.... large crop?
Interesting! Sharpness, pose and details are nice. Agree about the contrast problem. Also the WB looks a little strange, looks like a magenta cast maybe?

I agree with the above comments on some PP'ing tweaks. I am debating the perch.....I seee your delimma. I'm leaning towards the image w/o it.....maybe just because it is so OOF? Unusual pose and VG timing on the action.
