    Default Carrying the conservation message

This has taken me ages as I learn new techniques and try different processes but I think I'm ready to post one of my experiments to see whether I'm on the right track or wasting my time! :o

I took this photo of a white rhino at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya in 2008. She had given birth about 3 days previously. I've used her as a base to carry various conservation messages which are used by the conservancy in their work. I didn't want the writing to be completely legible, but have included larger type to emphasise the important words.

I know I've got a way to go before perfecting the technique but interested to see what people think.
    All C & C welcomed. Thanks. :)

Hilary, I really like the way this came out. I'm seeing a little bit of a color cast in some of the areas? This is very creative and an effective way to send a message.:) Nice work!!

Thanks Denise. Yes, there is colour coming from the blend layer I used which I added intentionally to change the rather bland colour of the rhino. Appreciate the feedback.

Hilary, You have a good eye and the added color doesn't look bad -I just wasn't sure if you knew.:)

Hilary, this is very well done and is a great way to convey a message. My eyes aren't great and I would like to be able to see some of the more important words - I'm having a hard time with the lines that seem to be superimposed on each other but it's probably just my eyes and the size of the image.:)

Thanks Cheryl, I agree that work needs to be done on the text so that will be my next refinement.
